Medicine Rope Strategies (M-R Strategies) is an Indigenous owned, Saskatoon based, consulting business specializing in community and economic development strategies, culturally responsive engagement and awareness approaches with a focus on technological Integration. Over the last 18 years, M-R Strategies owner, Derek Rope, was the former Housing Director for FSIN and has worked extensively in the public, non-profit and private sectors with a focus on collaboration and building sustainable linkages between Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations.
Over past years M-R Strategies has aligned with technology partner, Beagle Productions, to provide custom software solutions, marketing and web design for numerous First Nation and Metis communities, organizations, and governments. Combined, our ability to be responsive and innovate has made us a trusted community technology partner with an ability to meet the needs of diverse communities. - Saskatoon Community Action Plan - Community engagement sessions including recommendations, ongoing sustainability, website development and content management, Saskatoon services directory.
- Name To Place - Online First Nation School review survey with built in analytics for INAC and community reporting
- North American Indigenous Games - Sponsorship and fund development project including: website development, targeted fund-raising, marketing materials, relationship building with key identified sponsors.
