Indigenous Housing Technology Forum

This software was built by Indigenous Housing Directors, FOR Indigenous Housing Directors. ​

​It all began with an Independent Housing Forum.  A gathering of housing directors from across the country to bring their knowledge to our collaborative planning process, ensuring that the software is relevant and impactful to our communities, housing personnel and membership as it relates to the effective management and reporting of the inventory, occupation and maintenance of Indigenous housing portfolios.

The Technology Forum specifically looked at how technology can assist the day to day operation of data management, maintenance requests, reporting compliance, housing policies and application forms with secure online backups. The Forum discussed how technology can help housing Directors effectively and efficiently transition new personnel, while collaborating with contractors, inter-agency liaisons, funding programs and emergency services (through GPS tracking).​
